wasn't there a soundboard recording from a frog eyes show that had nothing but carey's volcals and one of the drums. so how about putting a song from that recording up to the mic for the singing part? it'd probably sound pretty funny wow! WOW! thom, where can i find that show again?

wait whaaaaaaaaaaaaat songsmith changes the tune/key/chord as per the vocals? yeah, it does. it's like, for those frog eyes songs i did, i was just singing acapella along to a drum beat, and then it analyzed my vocals and made the chords match up. but i could set how many minor chords it threw in there, and how "jazzy" the chords were, and the "genre."

does it tell you what chords go with that you're singing? if so that's quite helpful and i'll spend some time trying to get it to run on m'mac with crossover.

(these are just minute-long ditties in which i cropped-out the acapella intro and coda to the song and put that into songsmith).
(i promise never to do this again)
