It's good. My (crappy) mic just broke down, so I may have to orchestrate full covers through GarageBand. Which is to say, anyone searching for a synth-pop version of Claxxon's Lament may just be in luck. word. i'd love a whole album of cheesy synth-pop frog eyes covers, actually. someone needs to figure out the chords for "holiday treat," by the way.

I really don't have a band but I make songs up. I can't really play any instruments so most of my songs a cappella. I just did Claxxon's Lament w/ a keyboard and I'm putting it on my purevolume if anyone cares to listen. www.purevolume.com/thenorthwestmanyour song "brutal brutal brutal" is pretty awesome Thanks. I was at my computer when I got the idea for the song and about an hour later I finished recording it.

i did a cool (i think) kinda upbeat version of "a latex ice age" today. the project started out as an attempted shins/frog eyes mashup -- but that pailed, naturally -- so i just did a shins-esque (not really) cover. i'm not gonna unveil it until i redo the vocals, though. this is just to to raise excitement. oh, polishq is gonna drum on it, so we might as well open it up to all. mike should totally do some sax on it, and we definitely need some harmony vocals, especially if any females lurk around here still.

alright, guys. i did vocals. they're pretty decent for me! so here it is: the-collective.net/~sashwap/frog_eyes/alatexiceage-vocal.mp3of course i'm a big fan of the collaboration that goes down on this board, so if you want to add something, you should. polishq is gonna drum, and maybe we'll get some sax from mike. i don't know what else is out there, but probably some additional (or replacement) vocals would be cool too. once the drums are set i'll put the instrumental version up.
