Anyone made any?
The reason I'm asking being I'll be doing about two this month, so I just want to know what ones have happened in the past.

myself and polishq have a really good "one in six children" pending. i was hoping to get my girlfriend to sing on it but that hasn't materialized yet. the instrumental track is pretty dang good, though. also, polishq did a nice version of "ship destroyer" and tommmmmmm did "new soft motherhood alliance." oh, and trace did "claxxon's lament." that's all i know of

could we get uploads of these? i used to be able to find the ship destroyer cover on the bto site but cant anymore. karpe, if you want to try only to come across pleasant meadows and madames that would be crazy.

for the sound that would be a wolf parade or carolyn mark/carey mercer cover although it was really written by carey none of us (as far as i know) have heard the blackout beach version of it, even though in the believer magazine it was called a frog eyes cover.

thanks, also this seems like the appropriate place to ask about keyboards. im looking for one, probably 61 key (is there a reason to not get a 61?) thats good with the pitchbend and that stuff and different instrument setting things (piano, organ, violin, helicopter, gunshot, stuff like that.) i would want to be able to hook it up to my apple computer. would that mean a midi keyboard or just hooking the cables into the audio in? does anyone know of/have a keyboard that sounds like its what i want?

I've recorded several, pretty much every Frog Eyes song I know how to play, which are just the ones that there are tabs for. They all kind of suck though.

I really don't have a band but I make songs up. I can't really play any instruments so most of my songs a cappella. I just did Claxxon's Lament w/ a keyboard and I'm putting it on my purevolume if anyone cares to listen. www.purevolume.com/thenorthwestman

It's good.
My (crappy) mic just broke down, so I may have to orchestrate full covers through GarageBand.
Which is to say, anyone searching for a synth-pop version of Claxxon's Lament may just be in luck.
