funny seeing this thread cause right now i think i'm in the middle of reading the most books i've ever been reading at once, and i like them all which is a huge plus.

It's winter again, which means I'm doing nothing for a month but reading whatever I want to read. So far, been reading some Joyce, Beckett, some poetry, etc. and now: wish I had this editionIt's good, fun, intelligent. Gets a bit bogged when Kimbote gets all into his Zemblan kingly stuff. But that's intended, I think. And it's balanced well enough that it doesn't take over.

are you past the adenoid? i think it's pretty early on. anyway: you're prepared. just keep a map of germany handy. wikipedia helps too but don't kill yourself.
and feel more than free to record your versions of all the songs contained within.
some of the funniest, most rewarding jokes ever are in this book.
