seeing ac live would have been great when they were playing their sung tongs/feels sets.
now, not so much. the audience would be bad enough.

how was rock plaza central? It was actually kind of disappointing. They had a very stripped down set--just rhythm guitar, lead guitar, and a third guy who played accordion and horns. I talked to the horn-player after the show (not sure of his name) and he said they would be picking up vioinists and other horns as the tour progressed. During the show, Chris told a lot of stories, and seemed like a great, friendly guy. He referred to the lead guitarist as "a drifter [they'd] picked up" to fill in for their drummer. You could tell he was just learning the material, and he made a lot of mistakes. Despite all that, it was an alright show--it just could've been a lot better.

Just got back from Animal Collective in Minneapolis and the show was great except for hundreds of sweaty, hyper teenagers pushing into me and trying to swipe my front row/center spot. Those fucking degenerates. Oh and for whoever is interested the White Stripes have canceled their entire tour, which really sucks since they were coming to Fargo and few bands make the effort.

Hearing these rave reviews of AC's recent shows is making me . I really really wish I would've gone now. Why couldn't you guys just say they sucked and make me ;D in the bliss of ignorance?

it was these three white dudes, distorting everything they could (screams, trumpet, drums, recorder). occasionally, one of the white dudes would stand up and rap awkwardly, moshing to himself.
that's forty-five minutes i will never get back.

Eric Copeland nearly put me to sleep. Which is quite the task considering how loud his set was and I was standing.
