i'm seeing modest mouse november 12. should be decent though the crowd will be well retarded man man opening? indeed they are. I hear they're excellent live and I'm just as excited about seeing them. I watched some crappy quality youtube stuff and the energy looks great.

saw sunset rubdown tonight
they were good as always but a bit disappointing because they didn't play mending of the gown
the only songs they played that they haven't played before were magic vs. midas and some brand new one
though they did play three colours which was great and a more rocking version of for the pier which was also great

I would give my left AND right nut(s) to be able to see Sunset Rubdown again. But it's not gonna happen on this tour.
I did, however, see of Montreal tonight. Very good, energetic show. Left covered in sweat and with a smile on my faaaaaaaaace--the best way to leave anything.

fewn live at the trash bar NYC (10/8/07) SOUNDBOARD www.sendspace.com/file/97353y (37.9MB) 01 ten times the fun 02 lobbying congress for the right to punch you in the faaaaaaaaace 03 swarms of strange stinging insects 04 wildebeest monopoly 05 learning to play the tricycle 06 long-fingered foe 07 fetus of doom 08 clam song 09 my invisible head brain my first concert in new york city. arthur couldn't make it so there was a fill-in drummer. kinda rough, but not bad. we really made the sound guy work since we constantly change instruments and all three vocalists have different singing volumes -- you can hear him changing levels during the songs.

Why did you change your name?
I'm fairly certain that it would be difficult for me to play at a Whiskers concert Seeing that I'm waaaaaay down here

Saw Beach House and Grizzly Bear last night. Beach House put me in a trance (a good trance), but Grizzly Bear was simply alright.

I used to rent videos to the girl in Beach House back when I lived in Baltimore.
