i'm not prone to hyperbole, but radiohead doing this is pretty legendary.

for some reason, probably fox news, radiohead have never entered into the category of ubersupermegapopularity, despite being ubersupermegapopular.
i think it's their websites.

ha.
so, i'm torn about ordering this. i'll definitely get the download (and not for free!) but i am pretty close to ordering the big discbox thing. i dunno. can it be justified? i figure since it's made to order it'll be all collectible and stuff. that's cool, right?
in anticipation, i resequenced hail to the thief and it's great! check it out:
01. 2 + 2 = 5 02. Where I End and You Begin 03. Sail to the Moon 04. Scatterbrain 05. Wolf at the Door 06. Myxomatosis 07. I Will 08. Go to Sleep 09. There There 10. Sit Down Stand Up
the released version is way too long, and occasionally covers ground that kid a/amnesiac did much better (see HttT's two electronicy songs, which i dropped). my version has better flow, tighter sequence, each song has a chance to shine better ("wolf at the door" especially). i like the songs i dropped, but they can be cobbled up into a good outtakes album, i'm sure.

i would even cut scatterbrain and go to sleep, but if that kept up i'd probably just turn the album into a "There There single" with wolf and sail to the moon as b-sides.
three tracks. great flow. done.

I've never listened to radiohead... you'd probably like 'em. i think for you i'd prescribe kid a as a starting point. the first song on that sounds like something you'd write.
